If Bertrand Library does not own an article that you find in one of our databases, you may request it via Interlibrary Loan (ILL).

The easiest way to do this is through the database itself.  If you have found a relevant article in a database search, you will typically see a link in the item record that says “Check for Full Text” or “View Full Text.”  Clicking this link will take you to a page that shows whether or not the library has access to an electronic copy of the article or if the article is available in our print journal collection.

If the library does not own the article, you will see a link that says “Get It” next to the citation information on this page.  Click the link (you may need to sign in with your Bucknell ID and password) to get to the Interlibrary Loan form. Most of the information in the form should be filled out for you. Just check that the information is correct, and then click the Submit button.  When the article has been acquired, you will receive an email with access details.

If you cannot find the “Get It” link but you know the citation information for a specific article, you can log in to Interlibrary Loan directly to complete the form.
