The databases you choose to search largely depend upon the topic you are researching.  If you have no idea where to begin, it's a good idea to begin by searching the Worldcat library catalog.  This is a multidisciplinary database that contains a large number of items.

After that, consult the Research by Subject pages to find additional, subject-specific databases.  There is a Research by Subject guide for every subject taught at Bucknell, and they will lead you to relevant databases.
